- Collagen membrane derived from porcine pericardium
- Particularly thin
- High tensile strength
- 1 membrane per box
- Available in two sizes
This completely resorbable T-Gen® collagen membrane is derived from porcine pericardium and used for both guided tissue regeneration (GTR) and guided bone regeneration (GBR). It holds the bone graft (f.e. OssaBase-HA or PORESORB-TCP ) in place and prevents the undesired migration of soft tissues into the augmentation area. The T-Gen® pericardium membrane is completely absorbed naturally within 4 to 6 months. The barrier function lasts a full 3 to 5 months.
Its excellent adaptation to the defect and high tensile strength make handling the T-Gen® barrier membrane easy and user-friendly.
Advantages:
- Very thin membrane
- Easy and excellent handling
- Haemostatic effect
- Fast hydration
- Easy to shape and adapt to the defect
- Can be used dry and wet
- No undesirable sticking together after rehydration
- Excellent tensile strength and tear resistance
- Useable from both sides
- Predictable barrier function for 3 to 5 months
Indications in dental implantology, periodontology, oral and maxillofacial surgery
