Membrane pins

The resorbable LeadFIX membrane tacks are designed to secure resorbable membranes in dental surgery. After 6–7 months, the mechanical strength of the LeadFIX pin decreases, and the membrane tack is fully resorbed after 60 weeks. Explantation of the pins is not required and does not damage newly formed structures. A complete LeadFIX instrument set, as well as a LeadFIX Starter Set, are available.

Metapin membrane tacks, made of titanium, are specifically recommended for membrane placement even in areas of the jaw with high bone density. Please note that the Matapin holder/applicator is no longer offered by the manufacturer.
